Liu, female, 32 years old, has had less menstrual flow recently, and has been dripping for more than a month. Three months ago, Liu had a heavy menstrual flow and continuous dripping for more than 20 days, so she was diagnosed and stopped bleeding in the hospital. The pathology report showed that the endometrium was in the proliferative stage. Western medicine diagnosed it as functional uterine bleeding. Liu's menstruation has not been clean for half a month. The menstrual flow is sometimes more and sometimes less, and sometimes it is like a spring. The blood is bright red with purple and black blood clots. During menstruation, she is accompanied by palpitations, shortness of breath, dizziness, irritability, dry mouth, pale complexion, pale tongue, thin white fur, slippery and thin pulse. Later, Liu went to a traditional Chinese medicine doctor to explore the cause of the disease. The diagnosis of traditional Chinese medicine is blood heat type metrorrhagia, and metrorrhagia in traditional Chinese medicine is functional uterine bleeding. Liu was treated with Xijiao Dihuang Decoction.
