Lower abdominal pain is a typical early symptom of adnexitis

Lower abdominal pain is a typical symptom of adnexitis, and the more acute the inflammation, the more obvious the pain.

Generally speaking, patients will experience lower abdominal pain regardless of acute or chronic adnexitis, but the pain caused by acute adnexitis is more obvious, and is often accompanied by symptoms such as sudden fever and chills. The abdominal pain of patients with chronic adnexitis is not so sudden and severe, and is sometimes severe and sometimes mild. Sometimes it is only a feeling of abdominal pain or dull pain on one side. Some patients will also have symptoms such as increased leucorrhea, back pain, and irregular menstruation.

In addition, because the appendix is adjacent to the pelvic cavity or fallopian tubes, inflammation of any of these organs is likely to affect other organs and cause secondary inflammation. The occurrence of appendicitis will aggravate the patient's lower abdominal pain symptoms. The pain is generally limited to the lower abdomen, and the patient rarely has vomiting symptoms. Sometimes it may be accompanied by urinary pain, constipation, abdominal distension, and mucus in the stool, which is mainly the result of inflammation irritating the colon wall.

It should be noted that some women will feel pain in the lower abdomen on both sides after exercise, which will improve after a short rest. This is not a sign of adnexitis. The lower abdominal pain after exercise may be related to factors such as improper breathing rhythm. If you really have adnexitis, the pain will not disappear on its own after exercise. There is a clear difference between the two.
